1. Eligibility and Registration
Participation is open only to startups fulfilling the eligibility criteria specified in the application guidelines. For the open, no-fee participation model, startups must be DPIIT-registered and operating in the Media and Entertainment domain using Artificial Intelligence. Submission of any false, incorrect, or misleading information may result in disqualification at any stage.

2. Application and Selection
Submission of an application does not guarantee selection. Final selection shall be carried out by the Selection Committee constituted by WaveX, and the decision shall be final and binding. The Ministry/WaveX reserves the right to restrict or limit participation based on space availability and operational requirements.

3. Booth Allocation and Usage
Booths shall be allotted in a shared/coworking format. Startups shall restrict activities strictly to the space allocated. Sub-letting, transfer, or sharing with third parties is prohibited. Only approved branding and promotional materials may be used.

4. Participation Fee (Where Applicable)
Under the paid participation model, the prescribed fee shall be non-refundable and non-transferable. The fee covers participation of up to two (2) representatives along with basic booth infrastructure.

5. Attendance and Professional Conduct
Selected startups shall ensure physical presence for the entire duration of the showcase and adhere to all event protocols and advisories.

6. Zero-Tolerance Policy for Misconduct
Any misconduct shall result in immediate expulsion without notice and without refund. Misconduct includes misbehaviour, harassment, damage to property, objectionable content, political statements, or acts prejudicial to the dignity or interests of the Government of India or the event.

7. Product Demonstration and Claims
Startups are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of their demonstrations. No representation of government endorsement is permitted.

8. Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property rights shall remain with the respective startup. The Ministry/WaveX shall not be responsible for disputes.

9. Data Protection and AI Compliance
Compliance with data protection laws and ethical AI practices is mandatory. Use of sensitive or classified data is strictly prohibited.

10. Branding, Media, and Publicity
The Ministry and WaveX reserve the right to use startup branding and media material for official publicity and reporting.

11. Logistics and Infrastructure
Basic infrastructure shall be provided. Startups must arrange their own demo equipment unless otherwise specified.

12. Force Majeure
The Ministry and WaveX shall not be liable for delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond control.

13. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
Participation shall be deemed as full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. The Ministry and WaveX reserve the right to amend them in the interest of smooth conduct of the event.

The WaveX MIB Pavilion is a curated platform for startups developing AI-driven solutions across media, entertainment, broadcasting, gaming, advertising, and content creation.

WaveX will facilitate dedicated demo spaces and shared booths for selected startups at a subsidized cost, enabling them to showcase their innovations on a global stage.

WaveX (Ministry of Information & Broadcasting) will bear the full cost of pavilion branding, space management, and coordination with the India AI Summit team.

Space inside the main Ministry's pavilion to increase the visibility of the startups under WaveX. This is a prime area and different from the startup pods area being offered by the India AI Summit for the startups. Access to meeting rooms and all other infra at the pavilion.
